He laid the foundation of this charity organization in 1973 and since then has been the Chairman of the foundation. He has been actively involved in both politics, as twice elected as a member of parliament from Toba Tek Singh, as well as in business, being the chairman of Al-Hilal Industries. He has played a crucial role in getting The Sultan Foundation’s initial projects off the ground and has built a sustainable structure which has guaranteed the quality of services being provided.
