Keeping its tradition of analyzing the needs of the society and trying to solve it, The Sultan Foundation has developed a graveyard in Multan Cantonment. There were numerous reasons that led The Sultan Foundation to opt for this project. Firstly, there is a severe lack of burial grounds in the surrounding areas as the three existing graveyards are near full capacity with deteriorating conditions.

Secondly, the event of death is arguably the hardest time for the next of kin and we want to provide relief to people and make things easier for them in these testing times.

Not only are we taking care of all the stages of the burial process at our end, we are also providing these services free of cost to the family of the deceased in order to release them from any financial burden which is likely to arise from a death in the family.

This project has been started with the approval and collaboration with the Army which has donated the land for the project. Our plans include developing a graveyard of model standards, something which is severely lacking in our country. Along with providing the best of burial facilities to the general public, we will try to ensure all the processes of burial and the graves are done according to the Shariah, eliminating all kinds of Bidahs that our society has developed over the years.
